A Successful Year at the Greenhouse!
The Community Greenhouse has had a magnificent year, and we want to thank everyone for their support!
Due to the superb efforts and dedication of Peter and Lindsey, we've had a very successful season and are thrilled to announce that we've raised around £500! This fantastic sum has already allowed us to invest in a much-needed sprinkler system for the greenhouse.
Winter Closure & Farewell Event
Please note, the greenhouse will close for the winter at the end of September.
To mark the end of the season, we're hosting a small closing event and would love for our customers to join us:
When: Sunday, September 28th, from 12 PM to 1 PM
Where: In front of the Greenhouse
Come and share a glass of wine with us and, most importantly, share your suggestions for the next season. We can't wait to hear your ideas!
Announcing the Brentford "Hidden Gem" Calendar!
We're excited to announce that we are creating a high-quality calendar featuring these magnificent photographs!
This project serves a dual purpose: to celebrate the incredible talents of our local photographers and to showcase the stunning beauty of our home—Brentford's "Hidden Gem."
The winning photographers will each receive a complimentary calendar. For all other residents, calendars will be available for purchase at £10 each.
I'll be taking orders starting in late October, so keep an eye out for more details on how to reserve yours!
Community Spirit Soars for the RNLI!
What a truly fantastic time we had at the "Great River Race" on our river side! The atmosphere was brilliant, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying our riverside setting.
More importantly, the day was a huge success for a very worthy cause. Thanks to the incredibly generous support and donations from everyone who attended, we provisionally raised £600 for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). Every penny will go towards supporting their life-saving work.
A massive "Well Done" goes out to Roger for organizing such a memorable and successful event, and a big thank you to Frank for capturing all the wonderful moments with his excellent photos!
